    Default 2010 Fantasy Question

This is the time where we will take input about the fantasy format. If you have any suggestions about changes let us know here and we will put up a poll to see if anyone else likes the ideas. The 2009 format is below:

The 2009 J Mc's Garage Fantasy Game Rules

    (5 pts) Top five drivers

(1 pts) Starting ______ (A random Starting spot each week)

(1 pts) Cars on Lead Lap

(1 pt) Who will finish last?

(2 pts) Where will Jamie finish? (This needs to be a specific place, top 5 or top 10 will not count)

    (3 pts) a Bonus question

    Tentative 2010 System
    (2 pts) Race Winner

    (5 pts) Top five drivers

(1 pts) Who will be starting On Pole?

(1 pts) Cars on Lead Lap

(1 pt) Who will finish in _____ position? (The ___ position will be where ever Jamie is in points, so if he is sitting 15th in points after the last race this position would be 15th)

(2 pts) Where will Jamie finish? (This needs to be a specific place, top 5 or top 10 will not count)

    (3 pts) a Bonus question

With all the start-and-parks in 2009 could we change it to "Who will win the Pole?" and have the randomly selected one be "Who will finish _____?" Just a thought because last year it was not very interesting to answer who would finish last because almost every week it was one of three cars.

With all the rained out qualifying, maybe "Who will win the Pole" is just as predictable as "Who will finish last".

True, but then again that would apply to any question about qualifying.

I've taken some of your ideas and changed it up just a bit. I put it in the first post. Of course these changes are not set in stone, I was just trying to give you an idea about how it looks now.

What about points per question? Are they good how they are, or do I need to re-align them for next year?

Looks pretty good to me. Are we still going to have the 5 point bonus for picking the winner? I really like that because the point of a race is primarily to see who wins.

It wasn't 5 for the winner it was 5 points for the top 5 (1 pt for each correct driver in the top 5). We could add a few more points for picking the winner.

I know at the start of the season that was the way it was but I'm talking about roughly half way through (I think it started Daytona in July) it was changed so there was 5 bonus points if you correctly picked the winner. Either way though, I think having extra points available if you pick the winner is a good idea.
